The Alaska optical glass lamp is the small model of the Artica lamp (15030003) and has its own character. His wound spiral base lamp is in cut optical glass. It is placed on a rectangular base and crossed by a chromed metal electrical conduit. The square section shade is pure white. This lamp is a creation of the designer JP Rey and is manufactured by workshops Le Dauphin in France.

Born and anchored in Saint-Marcellin in the Dauphiné, Le Dauphin is renowned throughout the world for its high-end lighting fixtures, a guarantee of French craftsmanship. Created in 1966 by Maurice Tournu, a native of Saint-Marcellin, the small lampshade factory, rapidly diversified in lighting, was soon successful. A first factory was built in 1970.
