The model consists of a thick, round base in shiny black steel with a gold brass ring and push-button switch, a curved, thin, gold-plated brass tube arm mounted on a ball-and-socket joint with a crank to adjust the height of the lamp, and a large, round shade also mounted on a ball-and-socket joint to allow it to be adjusted to suit your wishes. The shade is made of steel with an elegant matt black finish.
