Superb floor lamp Envol, which carries its name very well with its two long wings nested one inside the other, in white Japanese paper in a rattan structure. The upper part is open to let in light. The lampshade with a sleek design is fixed vertically on a base of white Carrara marble. The power cable is transparent and equipped with a foot dimmer that regulates the light diffusion.
Céline Wright is an artist who has been designing and producing lighting fixtures for 20 years in the French capital, collections that are still very much imbued with a minimalist and purified Japanese tradition by mixing simple and pure materials such as paper or steel.
Envol also exists in suspension with ground connection (19070102) or ceiling (19070103).

Celine Wright is a very talented designer of lighting, mainly in Japanese paper. Handmade work is the only non-polluting human energy, says Celine Wright. All of this designer's lamps are handmade using ancestral techniques. The materials used are natural and non-polluting. The production of a lamp requires different types of very specific manipulations. In this way, Céline Wright has created an impressive network of people working from home, following the English model of cottage industry. Each lamp is unique. Moulded and textured by hand, a shell for the Cocoon range can consist of more than 1600 strips of paper, individually glued into a mould. It can take up to 7 hours of work to complete a single lamp, says the designer. The cocoon is strong, fire-resistant and emits a soft and soothing light. Céline Wright luminaires are designed to create mood lighting that complements the light from other lamps.
