This double-aspect amber and silver-plated Murano glass floor lamp reading lamp belongs to the Vistosi Cloth collection. Off, this floor lamp appears metallized (see for this lamp reference 13110147). On, it becomes clear amber. The effect is magical, this floor lamp is quite original. The quality of manufacture is exemplary. The glass is blown with the cane, and modeled by hand. This lamp can receive three bulbs of 100W each. Excellent light, accented downward, but including a mood lighting component with warm, clear tones. This lamp is made by Vistosi, one of the greatest Italian glassmakers, established in Murano, near Venice.

Vistosi is the oldest Murano glassworks still in operation. The Gazzabin family, which became Vistosi, has been blowing glass in Murano since the 15th century. In the 1950s, this Italian lighting manufacturer specialised in the production of luxury lighting and called on the greatest designers of the time (Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass...) to create its collections.
