Delicate and refined like a shell hiding its pearl, the Clam 44cm pendant lamp is aptly named, with its opal blown glass diffuser whose opening is adjustable and its golden brass elements. The model is composed of two half-sphere diffusers that fit into each other reproducing the effect of a shell, note the fineness of the material, the glass is mouth-blown making each piece unique. The diffuser is mounted on a vertical golden brass rod equipped with a knob that allows the degree of interlocking of the two pieces to be adjusted, thus offering a multitude of light diffusion scenarios. The whole is suspended by a black textile cable. Note that the brass is unvarnished, to naturally produce with time this delicious patina that will magnify the opal glass. The creations of the Dutch company Fritz Hansen have been shaping interiors since the 1872 century, applied from the 1920s onwards to the world of light with a series of timeless and refined collections resulting from collaborations with the greatest designers.
The model is also available in a 55cm version under the reference 22070008.
