Superb Model 195 pendant lamp, with a large Donut-shaped reflector made of white paper delicately pleated by hand. Its clean and elegant Nordic design is particularly timeless and marked by a geometric pattern in the shape of a diamond created by folding. The lampshade is topped with a discreet piece of brass that covers the base of the suspension cable, and the donut is closed on both sides by a steel disc. The Danish house Le Klint, which produces its lights in its Odense workshops, has been working since the 1940s on an emblematic production of Scandinavian design and today considered timeless.

Dimensions: 26cm high and 47cm in diameter for the small model, and 28cm in height and 53cm in diameter for the medium model.

It all began at the beginning of the 20th century with designer P.V. Jensen Klint's creation of a pleated paper lampshade to decorate a paraffin lamp. The Klint family, under the aegis of Tage Klint, founded the Danish brand in 1943 and developed an exclusive quality of paper to create their famous handmade lampshades. As the collections developed, the brand became known throughout the world, with iconic models still published today in the Masterpieces collection, until it was recognised as the official supplier of the Danish Royal Crown in 2003.
