Bronze chandelier Louis XV twelve lights
Solid bronze patina old gold chandelier, acanthus leaves and vertical arms - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
Equipped with twelve lights, this admirable chandelier Louis XV style is made of solid bronze, to which was applied an old gold patina. Twelve arms in volute, decorated with an ornamental pattern of superbly carved acanthus leaves support as many candlesticks. The basins (cups located at the base of each light) take the form of leaves in a light twist, and are surmounted by a delicate bobeche in the shape of a slightly swollen vase, also adorned. Four vertical arms in double volute and adorned with a gushing pattern connect the lower part of the chandelier to the shackle. It is beautifully surmounted by a curved horizontal pattern, then an elegant element in the shape of a lyre. The whole benefits from an extraordinary balance. The manufacturing is exemplary, solid bronze molded with sand, worked, finished and patinated by hand. A similar model of design, equipped with twenty lights and a height of 120cm without chain is available under reference 12020222.
Dimensions: height with chain 105cm, without chain 85cm, diameter 70cm.
Light source: 12 standard E14 screw bulbs, preferably frosted flame halogen type.
