This elegant Blondel two light wall fixture combines matt black metal and opal glass in a retro vertical design. The wall fixture features a piece of matt black metal mounted on a round wall bracket, forming a sleeve into which the two conical opal glass diffusers slide, creating two beams and projecting a soft light. To facilitate the installation of the very deep cone, the model is supplied with a special clamp that allows the glass to be screwed onto the body of the wall light. Blondel was designed by Astrid DIETERLEN & Bruno BORRIONE for Paris-based Gau Lighting, a team of designers and interior architects who work with a wide range of eclectic materials including bronze, aluminium, brass, wood, alabaster, glass and acrylic. Gau emphasises the use of technological innovations such as LED lighting, carefully integrated into its luminaires, which are designed and manufactured in the Paris region.
