This superb Circe convex mirror features a bronze-finish metal frame and alabaster elements. A truly sculptural piece of art, Circe takes the form of an angular labyrinth with a beautiful, hand-painted bronze finish that radiates outwards from the central convex mirror, captivating the eye. Small alabaster tiles are set into the ends of the frame at regular intervals from each 'exit' of the labyrinth, creating an elegant contrast between the warmth of the bronze and the natural lustre of the mineral. This piece would look great in an entrance hall, for example, and would catch the attention of visitors.
Founded in Milan in 2014 by Matteo Terragni, Matlight Milano explores a new dimension of luminous design, combining noble materials such as marble and alabaster with a minimalist, contemporary aesthetic.
