Design 70s table lamp in gold Ala
Metal table lamp, cylindrical base, available in large model - AXIS71 - Table lamps
This is the iconic gold Ala table lamp in medium format, an airy design from the 1970s. Designed by Italian designer Carlo Nason, the Ala lamp is inspired by the gesture of folding one's hands to imitate the movement of a bird's wings. This model features a metal cylinder topped by a sculptural diffuser formed by assembling two folded discs at right angles to create the wings of the metaphorical bird. The balance of these two elements gives the lamp its airy appearance, magnified by the gold finish. This model was never produced at the time of its creation, but is now being produced for the first time.
Axis71 takes great care over every detail, from the choice of materials to the finish, to create elegant, long-lasting luminaires comparable to haute couture in the field of lighting.
The model is also available in a large format under reference 25010013 and in a black or white finish in a medium or large format under references 25010014 and 25010015 respectively.
Dimensions: 54 cm high, 14 cm diameter base, 40 cm diameter and 40 cm high crown, 5.8 kg for the medium model.
The light source is an E27 PAR38 LED bulb which must be purchased separately.
