Large Design table lamp in gold finish Ala
70s table lamp, flapping wings, available in small version - AXIS71 - Table lamps
The large-format, gold Ala table lamp is an iconic model from the 1970s. Its cylindrical, metallic design is both ethereal and geometric. Designed by Italian designer Carlo Nason, the Ala lamp is inspired by the gesture of hands imitating the flapping of a bird's wings. This large-format version retains the features of the original model, with a slender, cylindrical metal base supporting a sculptural diffuser comprising two large discs bent at right angles to form the 'wings' of this stylised bird. The harmony of these elements creates an expressive, light silhouette, enhanced by the warm glow of the gold finish. This model was never produced at the time of its creation, but is now being produced for the first time.
Founded in 1971, Axis71 is a Belgian company that specialises in manufacturing metal lighting. Its expertise in craftsmanship and contemporary approach enables it to offer original, refined creations.
The model is also available in a medium version under the reference 25010012, as well as in black and white in medium and large formats under the references 25010014 and 25010015.
