Beautiful Ballon pendant lamp in white and oak, sophisticated, complex and versatile. The Ballon collection won the German Design Award 2019 for its remarkable Scandinavian minimalist aesthetic, its steel structure with integrated LED lighting that can be oriented and extended. The model consists of a round ceiling bracket in white lacquered metal and oak wood, a pendant lamp in white lacquered steel tube that splits into a Y, each end of which has a light head. One is a 25cm diameter oak wood disc, the other is a 11cm diameter metal disc, each fitted with an ultra-thin round LED panel and capable of swivelling through 330°. The versatility of Ballon makes it perfect for a living room or a bedside table in a bedroom, providing originality and quality light, and the pendant is equipped with a Casambi Bluetooth box for dimming and control via a smartphone app.
Cultivating the essence of Scandinavian tradition, Tunto handcrafts its lighting in Finland, with wood at the heart of this collection, which combines the ancestral know-how of working with this noble material with the latest LED control technology, under the direction of Mikko Kärkkäinen, the Finnish company's chief designer.
The model is also available in walnut and black under the references 22120078 and 22120079, in the 83cm version in the ordering options at the bottom of this page, and is also available in a special 24-carat gold finish and with different stem sizes, please contact us for these options.
Dimensions: 53 or 68cm total height, large disc 25cm, small disc 11cm, 15cm extension tube for the 68cm pendant and 30cm extension for the 83cm model, 18cm diameter ceiling mount, 4cm height.
The light source comes from a 13W CRI>97 LED module integrated in 2700K (available in 3000K on request) and Casambi Box (Bluetooth lighting control system via an application that allows you to control your luminaire and vary the light intensity). The LED module can be replaced at the factory.
