Darlana is a lovely classic 4-light pendant with a black bronze metal structure, candle holder and clear glass. Note the structure of the lantern, which has a base that is slightly narrower than the top, with edges in a beautiful bronze metal finish and clear glass windows. These reveal the candle holder with the 4 imitation candles suspended from a rod in the centre of the lantern. The whole is mounted on a black metal chain to a round ceiling bracket.
This lamp was designed by the duo Chapman & Myers, long-time collaborators of Visual Comfort, who work in a classic yet modern style. The American brand Visual Comfort, which has been in business since 1987, offers a wide range of contemporary and traditional lighting fixtures made from high-quality materials.
Dimensions: 47cm high, 31cm wide, 15cm diameter ceiling support, 183cm chain.
The light source is provided by 4 E14 candelabra bulbs of max. 40W each or LED equivalent, to be purchased separately.

The brand was officially launched in Houston, Texas in 1987 and quickly established itself as a different kind of lighting designer. Andy Singer, a former lighting salesman and the man behind the brand, didn't want to play the role of a distributor when the brand was conceived. Collection after collection, Visual Comfort & Co. has taken its rightful place in the world of high-end lighting. The first collaboration took place in 1996 with the design firm Chapman & Myers, who created the brand's visual identity. Myers' penchant for contemporary style and Chapman's more classically inspired approach resulted in a comprehensive collection of pendants and wall lights to appeal to a wide market. Today, 26 designers, including Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of Esthée Lauder, renowned interior designer Kelly Wearstler and the late Kate Spade, embody the Visual Comfort style.
