Greuze is a picture wall light with a minimalist, contemporary design. In this case, the 40cm model is a horizontal golden structure in satin-finished brass with high quality integrated LED lighting. The strikingly simple wall fixture is in the form of a horizontal piece of metal with a rounded top, cut to accommodate the integrated LED module and direct the light towards the floor. It has a beautiful satin brass finish that gives the metal a golden patina. Greuze can be used as a table lamp or as a subtle, warm light to illuminate a headboard, for example, as you can see in the accompanying photos.
Greuze was designed by Astrid DIETERLEN & Bruno BORRIONE for Paris-based Gau Lighting, a team of designers and interior architects who work with a wide range of eclectic materials including bronze, aluminium, brass, wood, alabaster, glass and acrylic. Gau emphasises the use of technological innovations such as LED lighting, carefully integrated into its luminaires, which are designed and manufactured in the Paris region.
The model is available in 50cm, 60cm or 70cm versions in the ordering options at the bottom of this page.
Dimensions: 7cm high, 5.7cm protruding from the wall and 40cm, 50cm, 60cm or 70cm long depending on the model chosen.
The light source is a 2700K, CRI>90 integrated LED strip of:
4W and 300lm for the 40cm model
5.5W and 400lm for the 50cm model
6.5W and 500lm for the 60cm model
8W and 600lm for the 70cm model
