The Ecran table lamp, with its polished nickel base and glass screen diffuser, is in the Art Deco style. The model has a square metal base and a tubular foot to which the shade is attached, giving the lamp its name. The shade is slightly curved, the glass surface that diffuses the light is framed in metal and the rounded effect ensures optimum diffusion of soft light. Ecran has a beautiful polished nickel finish that gives it a smooth, silvery, mirrored surface. Particularly suited to a bookshelf or console table, it provides a powerful light and has an integrated dimmer switch. Ecran was designed by Astrid DIETERLEN & Bruno BORRIONE for Paris-based Gau Lighting, a team of designers and interior architects who use a variety of eclectic materials including bronze, aluminium, brass, wood, alabaster, glass and acrylic. Gau emphasises the use of technological innovations such as LED lighting, carefully integrated into their luminaires, which are designed and manufactured in the Paris region.

The light source is a 15W max E27 LED bulb (sold separately). Built-in dimmer switch.
