Asymmetrical 70s black and white metal table lamp Ala
70s design table lamp, large model, available in small model - AXIS71 - Table lamps
This iconic table lamp is the large model from the Ala series, a 1970s design that catches the eye with its asymmetrical black-and-white metal silhouette. Designed by Italian designer Carlo Nason, Ala evokes the movement of a bird's wings when you cross your hands, thanks to its sculptural and balanced structure. It combines a cylindrical black metal base with a white diffuser comprising two large, thin metal discs bent at right angles and finished in white, creating an asymmetrical silhouette with a sculptural and graphic quality. The marked contrast between the deep black and luminous white enhances its contemporary look and the diffusion of light. This model, which was never produced at the time of its creation, is now being produced for the first time.
Axis71 is based in Hoegaarden, Belgium, where it designs and produces its luminaires locally. Its factory enables it to control the entire manufacturing process and ensure a high level of quality.
The model is also available in a smaller version (reference 25010014), as well as in gold in small and large versions (references 25010012 and 25010013).
Dimensions: Large model: 74 cm high, base 17 cm in diameter, crown 50 cm in diameter and 50 cm high, 7.5 kg.
The light source is an E27 LED bulb which must be purchased separately.
