Louis XVI chandelier in gilded bronze, eight lights
Louis XVI chandelier in solid bronze, patinated old gold double scroll arm - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
With its eight lights deployed at the end of arms double scrolls, this golden Louis XVI style chandelier, solid bronze, patinated old gold is a perfect balance. This chandelier was made by casting bronze in a sand mold used once which guarantees the finesse and precision of the decorations. The alternation of polished part and brilliant part further increases the contrasts brought by its old gold finish. Its base is adorned with brilliant, beaded and matte contours that succeed one another. Eight double volute arms decorated with leaves ending in antique-inspired square rings support fluted and conical bobbins. The top of the chandelier is also remarkable. It is a half-oval covered with rising leaves, ending in several circles with different relief and patina attached to a chain with links also worked. The bottom of the chandelier is also very neat with a decor of leaves and bud coming to finish this jewel. Its reasonable proportions make it a sublime object that can be placed in many interiors as long as the ceiling height is at least three meters. This chandelier exists in larger dimensions and visible under reference 16060026 for the twelve-light model, under the reference 16060027 for the model twenty lights and under the reference 16060037 for a model six lights.
