Inspired by the eponymous Berber city, the Agadir 12-light chandelier is a classic Venetian style chandelier made entirely of clear Venetian crystal, enhanced with gold glitter crystal pieces and a polished chrome structure. The chandelier is composed of a series of swan neck arms that extend in a circle from a central vase, equipped with finely decorated basins.
Each part of the chandelier is worked with intricate spiral patterns, which add texture to this sometimes transparent, sometimes gilded, plant-based model. Indeed, it has beautiful leaf-shaped decorations whose graceful curves evoke movement, as well as flowers that adorn the chandelier from the central vase, delicately shaped in the glass, and small pendants that evoke dewdrops. The name of the model refers to the city on the southern Atlantic coast of Morocco, and its design is a reinterpretation of a drawing from the Barovier & Toso archives. The Venetian firm, with its long-standing expertise dating back to the 13th century, is home to the best master glassmakers, making it the undisputed master of Murano glasswork.

Dimensions: the 12-light model is 130cm in diameter and 100cm in total maximum height, for 20kg. The 8-light model is 85cm in diameter, 77cm in total maximum height, for 15kg.
The light source comes from 8 or 12 E14 bulbs of 60W max, or LED equivalent, to be purchased separately.

Founded in 1295, Barovier&Toso is one of the oldest and most prestigious Murano lighting factories known to Venice. The first official document mentioning Mr. Barovier, a master glassmaker on the island of Murano, is found at this date. A century and a half later, Barovier made history with the revolutionary invention of an extremely transparent and brilliant material by Angelo Barovier.
