The simple crystal and gold-tone metal Monceau pendant is gilded with gold leaf. It consists of a transparent crystal in a so-called emerald cut, i.e. a rectangular paving stone with two long sides and two short sides. The diffuser is diamond cut from a block of crystal, the center is recessed and each face meticulously polished. It diffuses a warm light, enhanced by the golden tones of the metal. The Monceau collection, introduced by the Fine Art Lamps brand, whose refinement and delicacy of the lighting is well established, is no doubt a classic in the making. By alternating bronze, gold and silver finishes, mixing them with crystals in geometric shapes, through which the light dances and is reflected, the designer Jonathan Browning creates a both raw and elegant, with timeless shapes.
