Flora is a table lamp with a vegetal design and excellent material, in the pure classic and organic style of the Objet Insolite house. Its foot, which rests on a circular plinth, features a delicate young branch dotted with two leaves, and the irregular texture of the bronze reinforces the natural appearance of the lamp. This texture is the result of the industrial inspired manufacturing technique which makes each luminaire a unique model. The satin nickel finish of the bronze for this lamp is achieved by covering the base with a thin even layer of nickel, preferred to silver for its resistance to oxidation, all after a bronze polishing operation. The result is a color very close to silver. The foot is surmounted by a beautiful conical shade in off-white taffeta, its low amplitude makes Flora a perfect lamp to put on a small console or to illuminate a bookcase between two shelves. Objet Insolite is a French house that has been creating lighting in its Normandy workshops since 1981, and which benefits from the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, a distinction granted by the state which recognizes French companies for excellent artisanal and industrial production.
By default this luminaire is delivered with the lampshade offered in this image, the model is available in the different colors of the color chart visible in the secondary photo, choice to be specified in the special information of your order form.
The model is available in a black patinated bronze finish under the reference 20070217 and in a gold finish under the reference 20070219. The collection also includes a double wall light in a patinated bronze, nickel and gilded finish under the references 20070229, 20070230 and 20070231, as well as a simple wall light in patinated, nickel and gold finish under the references 20070238, 20070239 and 20070240, and a chandelier in a patinated, nickel and gold finish under the references 20070270, 20070271 and 20070272.
Dimensions: shade 34cm in diameter and 25cm in height, 72cm in total height.
The light source comes from an E27 bulb of 100W max or LED equivalent to be purchased separately.

Objet insolite lights are lamps, wall sconces, chandeliers and pendants made exclusively of solid bronze, with a collection of polyester or taffeta lampshades in shimmering and luxurious colours. Inspired by nature and the animal world, the lamps often represent leaves, branches, cats and birds in highly poetic stylised interpretations. The bronze moulds are made by an industrial process that gives them an imperfect, almost rough surface.
