With the delicacy of plant inspiration and the strength of a noble material, bronze, the golden two-light wall lamp from the Flora collection is part of the classic and organic style of the Objet Insolite house. The structure features a young branch dotted with leaves that separates into two, each accommodating a lampshade that are at different heights. The irregular texture of the bronze reinforces the natural appearance of the luminaire, it is the result of the industrial-inspired molding technique which makes each luminaire a unique model. The golden finish you see here is achieved by coating the bronze with a thin, even layer of gold by electrolysis, after a bronze polishing operation that brings out the roughness of the metal. The conical shades are in white taffeta. Objet Insolite is a French house that has been creating lighting in its Normandy workshops since 1981, and which benefits from the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, a distinction granted by the state which recognizes French companies for excellent artisanal and industrial production.
By default this luminaire is delivered with the lampshade offered in this image, the model is available in the different colors of the color chart visible in the secondary photo, choice to be specified in the special information of your order form.
The model is available in a patinated black finish under the reference 20070229 and in a satin nickel finish under the reference 20070230. The collection also includes a table lamp available in the 3 finishes under the references 20070217, 20070218 and 20070219, as well as a simple wall light under the references 20070238, 20070239 and 20070240, and a chandelier under the references 20070270, 20070271 and 20070272.
Dimensions: 33cm wide and 49cm high, with 14cm protruding from the wall, shade 16cm wide and 18cm high.
The light source comes from 2 E14 bulbs of 40W max each or equivalent LED to be purchased separately.

Objet insolite lights are lamps, wall sconces, chandeliers and pendants made exclusively of solid bronze, with a collection of polyester or taffeta lampshades in shimmering and luxurious colours. Inspired by nature and the animal world, the lamps often represent leaves, branches, cats and birds in highly poetic stylised interpretations. The bronze moulds are made by an industrial process that gives them an imperfect, almost rough surface. The strength of bronze combined with the poetry of Augustin Granet's sculptures gives rise to a collection of elegant lighting fixtures, essential elements of a refined interior. All models are available in black patinated, gold patinated or satin nickel finishes and are complemented by a number of matching side tables. The Objet insolite collection is entirely made in France, in Augustin Granet's workshops in Normandy.
