The lamp has a rectangular black metal wall bracket to which the arm is attached. The arm is made up of two rods, one of which slides over the other to adjust the length of the arm and swivels from right to left to maximise the adaptability of the model. You can plug Frankfort directly into the wall or connect it to an external power supply using the power cord shown in the photo.

High-end lighting in classic contemporary styles by leading designers

The brand was officially launched in Houston, Texas in 1987 and quickly established itself as a different kind of lighting designer. Andy Singer, a former lighting salesman and the man behind the brand, didn't want to play the role of a distributor when the brand was conceived. Collection after collection, Visual Comfort & Co. has taken its rightful place in the world of high-end lighting. The first collaboration took place in 1996 with the design firm Chapman & Myers, who created the brand's visual identity. Myers' penchant for contemporary style and Chapman's more classically inspired approach resulted in a comprehensive collection of pendants and wall lights to appeal to a wide market. Today, 26 designers, including Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of Esthée Lauder, renowned interior designer Kelly Wearstler and the late Kate Spade, embody the Visual Comfort style.
