The Studio Swing reading lamp has a retro patinated bronze finish with an articulated arm, adjustable height and directional light. The reading lamp has a rectangular base and a telescopic foot that allows the height of the lamp to be adjusted up to almost 1.5 m. The lamp head is attached to an arm with two joints that allow it to be extended horizontally and swivelled to the right and left to direct the light precisely. It has a white acrylic diffuser. The base can be slid under an armchair or sofa to get the light as close as possible to where it's needed, and the switch is on the power cord. Studio Swing is a floor lamp that is perfect for discreetly and elegantly illuminating a reading corner.
The American brand Visual Comfort, which has been in business since 1987, offers a wide range of contemporary and traditional lamps in high-quality materials.

The brand was officially launched in Houston, Texas in 1987 and quickly established itself as a different kind of lighting designer. Andy Singer, a former lighting salesman and the man behind the brand, didn't want to play the role of a distributor when the brand was conceived. Collection after collection, Visual Comfort & Co. has taken its rightful place in the world of high-end lighting. The first collaboration took place in 1996 with the design firm Chapman & Myers, who created the brand's visual identity. Myers' penchant for contemporary style and Chapman's more classically inspired approach resulted in a comprehensive collection of pendants and wall lights to appeal to a wide market.
